Modern linguistic and cultural processes in terms of transformation of Ukrainian information space

Abstract

The article is devoted to the linguistic and cultural processes in Ukraine, increase of their influence in the information space. We consider the points of views of key political players (the participants of the second round of presidential elections in Ukraine to 2019 : Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the party of the «servant of the people», which won the parliamentary elections and formed monoblast in the Verkhovna Rada) on etnopolitical development of the country. National information space is analyzed in its three components: national, regional and local. The information space should take into account the interests of national minorities, at the same time should have a clear Ukraine-centered content. The first results of Ukrainization of the information space by the quota of the state language in television and radio. Noted that one of the means of Ukrainization of civil society may be the use of languages of national minorities. As an example, the measures given in the languages of national minorities concerning the anti-virus COVID 19. Analyzed the reservations of individual national minorities regarding the implementation of article 7 of the law «On education». Made a number of practical proposals for further adjustments to the linguistic and cultural processes in the context of Euro Atlantic integration and Ukrainization of the national information space, improving the efficiency of humanitarian policy
