Abstract
The article deals with the complex of theoretical and practical issues in the field of occupational standardization, comparative analysis of European and international standards in the field of occupational safety is made. The author noted the adaptation of the legislation of Ukraine, which provides for the reform of its legal system and the gradual alignment with European and international standards of labor protection, in order to define uniform and generally accepted legal, socio-economic measures and means aimed at preserving life, health and human performance during work. The study highlighted the state of standardization in the field of occupational safety, conducted a comparative legal analysis of compliance and development of recommendations in order to further approximate the legislation of Ukraine to the requirements of the acquis communautair. The article defines the basic terminology that reveals the essence of this research, in particular: «system of labor safety standards», «standardization», «standards», etc. Types of standardization are considered and some standards of the national system of standardization of labor protection are described. The study deals with the new ISO 45001: 2018 standard «Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Requirements and Recommendations for Application», which is one of the most anticipated standards in the world. The author emphasizes the importance and necessity of forming a clear standardization system in Ukraine, which will improve the situation in the field of labor protection
