Abstract

The article deals with the actual problems of the introduction and use of multimedia technologies in the process of training students.The analysis of modern experience in the use of multimedia presentations used by the lecturers of the Department of history and records management of the National Aviation University. In multimedia technologies simultaneously use several information media: graphics, text, video, photo, animation, sound effects, high-quality audio. This is a modern example of the use of well-known effective principles of visibility and accessibility in the learning process. Multimedia documents can contain language texts, staticgraphic images, separate audio and music accompaniment effects, special animation graphics, and showcase movie and photo phonograph fragments. The main differences between innovative multimedia tools are interactivity, free interpretation and sociability. Multimedia presentations are a modern, convenient and effective way to provide students with information. Comprehensive combination of linguistic text with movement dynamics, sound and graphic representation. the figure actively influences the organs of human perception - hearing and sight. The combination of visual and auditory information intensifies the thinking and memory of students, allows them to keep their attention longer, provide much more information. Lecturers and students must use multimedia. Teachers should teach students how to create presentations, develop skills in designing and demonstrating them. The advantages of using information technologies in comparison with traditional forms of preparation of students are substantiated. The experience of using multimedia presentations at lectures and practical classes, in research work of students during the defense of diploma works is considered. The basic requirements to the structure of the presentation, the choice of font, color of slides, and animation effects are defined. The use of information technologies in student learning provides a high professional level. The methodical recommendations for creating multimedia presentations are considered
