Abstract
The article discusses the problem of the phenomenon of cultural dialogue in the reception of M. Zerov, today studied partially, have identifi ed the specifi c key terms, the attention was focused to the artistic heritage of the writer and scientist. In the course of the analysis of samples of scientifi c studios and original Zerov’s works was found that poet, translator, critic constantly stressed the relevance of the phenomenon of cultural dialogue, defended the idea of the rise of national culture to the European level. It is noted that literary critic M. Zerov presented to the Ukrainian recipient works of ancient Greek, Roman, French, Polish, German, British and other masters of speech, emphasizing the importance of active creative cooperation of Ukrainian authors with European art circles
