Abstract

The publication is dedicated to the study of new approaches to the educational process in the conditions of building a knowledge society, where special attention is paid to the innovative teacher who is able to both assimilate and produce new ideas; to use new forms, methods and methods of training specialists in institutions of higher education, since the information age requires from a young professional the skills of working with information, the skills of computer processing of information and knowledge, replenished throughout life, to transform an information resource into a product, service, new knowledge. The article highlights the issue of changing the modern educational paradigm associated with the global revolution and transformational socio-economic changes, the emergence of a new information culture and in connection with the establishment of the perception of dynamic knowledge as the main value of the modern era. The dynamic knowledge and intelligence of the employee become the basic means of production, contribute to changing the way of life, communication, thinking, vision of the future and understanding of the future, therefore the article considers the directions and mechanisms of acquiring new knowledge. From the point of view of the change of the educational paradigm, the prospects for the implementation of the competence approach in higher education are considered, which involves the training of a specialist who is fluent in the profession and is thoroughly oriented in related fields of activity, ready for constant knowledge growth and social mobility. The article analyzes the experience of teacher-student cooperation on the system of acquiring skills for mastering existing and producing new knowledge, which develops self-education abilities, the ability to work with various information and data, and forms a new communicative culture. It is indicated that due to the pedagogy of partnership based on the principles of equality, complementarity and equivalence, the effectiveness of the system of active problem-based learning (discussions, round tables, case methods, debates, etc.) is ensured; developing skills: – independent cognitive activity and critical thinking;
– use of ICT with an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their application;
– building effective communication during preparation and during training sessions; 
– constant deepening of intellectual development;
– organization of the individual educational process and selection of effective learning strategies;
– training oneself as a specialist, in accordance with the requirements of the modern labor market
