Abstract
On 16 November 2017, the SHEI "Hryhorii Skovoroda Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi State Pedagogical University" hosted a presentation of the book "Reformation Ideas in the Ukrainian Lands of the XVI - XVII Centuries (100 Protestant Figures)" as part of the creative project "University Meetings". The event was attended by the authors of the study (V. P. Kotsur, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Rector of the Hryhorii Skovoroda Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi State Pedagogical University; V. O. Balukh, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Theology of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University; O. V. Balukh, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Assistant of the Department of History of Ukraine at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University), invited guests (in particular, R. I. Petryshyn, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, First Vice-Rector of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University), reviewers (Doctors of Historical Sciences I. O. Demuz, I. V. Dovzhuk, V. K. Molotkina), teachers, students and the staff of the university library. It should be noted that the work of historians is timed to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, which is celebrated in 2017, and is a worthy response to the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 357/2016 "On the Celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation in Ukraine" on the publication of scientific and popular science research dedicated to this event. We wish the authors further creative success, interesting research projects, and new achievements! We publish reviews of the book.
