Abstract

The artists of Ukraine, primarily graphic artists, painters, and architects, began searching for new forms in visual arts. Here, it is necessary to analyze, first and foremost, the artistic phenomenon of Ukrainian graphic art, which flourished precisely in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was during this time that the activity of a whole group of young Ukrainian artists began: Georgiy Vyacheslavovych Yakutovych (1930–2000), Serhiy Tadeevych Adamovych (1922–1998), Oleksandr Hryhorovych Danchenko (1926–1993), Oleksandr Ivanovych Hubarev (b. 1926), Nadiya Yosypivna Lopukhova (b. 1928), and others
