Abstract

Pension provision has been and remains one of the priority areas of the state's social policy. The level of its development is determined by two main factors - the level of economic development and the state of democratic principles. For a thorough study of the formation of pension protection, including private pensions, in Ukraine, it is necessary to determine its historical development.
