Abstract
The publication examines the procedure for the formation of integrity as an element of professional and pedagogical culture in the process of training future teachers, as the elite on which hope for the revival of Ukraine is placed. Considering integrity as one of the main values of modernity, an important element of professional and pedagogical culture in the formation of the future Ukrainian elite, social capital capable of putting new technologies at the service of the nation, the procedure of formation of integrity in higher education institutions of Ukraine was considered. We analyzed the element of «partnership» in the system of ensuring the quality of education and in the process of forming integrity as an important component of the professional culture of the pedagogical elite of Ukraine. We considered the process of forming integrity through the mechanism of problem presentation of the material in the educational process and in the conditions of scientific research work. Following the process of formation of the culture of a teacher-scientist, the components were considered: culture of thinking, culture of communication, textual and stylistic culture, bibliographic culture of the researcher, which ensure the formation of skills for working with a scientific text, polemical skills, language culture and the culture of writing various texts. Through the prism of the listed components of the culture of a teacher-scientist, integrity was considered as a foundational element. Attention was drawn to plagiarism as a violation of the principle of integrity in the educational and scientific process; followed the procedure of ensuring the principle of integrity in the higher education institutions of Ukraine through the mechanism of adoption of Regulations, Codes and Declarations on academic integrity
