The article analyzes the step-by-step components of the ethno-national policy on the reintegration of the Ukrainian Donbass and the restoration of the territorial integrity and civic unity of Ukraine. Seven topical ethno-political problems of socio-cultural development of the region in the conditions of counteraction to the imperial policy of Russia in the conditions of its occupation-hybrid war against Ukraine are singled out. The tasks of ethno-national policy for the deoccupation of Ukrainian territories and their inhabitants should be: consolidation of Ukrainian citizens, their inclusion in the system of national values, preservation of ethnocultural diversity of the region, restoration of common information space, its de-Russification, first of all education, restoration of higher education. consequences of the demographic crisis, the formation of a common civic position on the need to return the occupied territories. The successes of Ukraine on the way of unification of the Ukrainian society, achievement of civil unity, formation of common values in information space, cultural and educational life are noted. A number of proposals for the reintegration of the occupied and controlled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions into a single cultural, educational and information space based on common civic-political, ethno-national and civilizational values are presented. It is noted that all modern ethno-national problems of Donbass are connected, on the one hand, with the imperial-Soviet socio-cultural and ideological heritage, and on the other hand, with the occupation-hybrid war and information aggression of Putin’s Russia against Ukraine. It was emphasized that the integration processes in the controlled and uncontrolled parts of Donbass should take into account the multi-vector development over the past seven years. The conclusion is made about the need to strengthen the influence of the state of Ukraine on the processes of national consolidation of Ukrainian society. Solving the problems of ethno-national consolidation of society together with overcoming poverty, fighting oligarchy and corruption is an important resource for deoccupation of territories, restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty over the occupied territories and should remain a priority of Ukrainian authorities and civil society institutions
