Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine the features of the manifestation and the impact of modern technology and the latest popular web resources on the youth today. We also consider the impact of social networks on the formation of cultural identity in particular and culture of the society as a whole. The problem of rational use of leisure time and motivation to use social networks are examined, in particular examples of students. It was also outlined the issue of human dependence on the social networks as a complex synthesis of mental processes, interpreted primarily as the inability of the individual to control himself, conduct disorder, caused by using the Internet. As a result, it is proved that the relevance and importance of communicative activity and a set of communication processes are now directly dependent on the activity of emergency today’s young people on the Internet pages of their own and others’ social networking profi les. The interrelation and mutual relations with the public and young audiences in popular social networks among young people are being researched
