Abstract

In the article the historical aspect of development of document science is examined as independent direction of scientific activity; scientific works of researchers are analyzed in relation to the structure of the document science. The estimation of development of document science in Ukraine gave an opportunity to draw conclusion, that common document science as totality of knowledge about a document and scientifi c discipline, naturally, are on the stage of forming and evolution. Therefore, fully clear, that it have a right on existence and discussion different views of researchers of this industry near determination of structure of the complex system of knowledge about a document.
