Abstract
The aim of the article is a research of peculiarities of translation of business correspondence by computer-aided translation and diffi culties during this process. The main problem of imperfect computer-aided translation is that English and Ukrainian languages belong to the different structural types of languages (Ukrainian belongs to fusional languages and English belongs to analytic languages), and that is why there are many differences in the structure and in the set of grammatical forms and constructions. Due to these differences, it is hard to create the universal system of perfect software for computer-aided translation. Computer-aided translation makes the work of translator much easier, however it cannot fully replace a translator. At this stage the artifi cial intelligence cannot give perfect communication with different languages and requires constant intervention from a man. However, the demand on this product stimulates constant development of software in this field
