Abstract
At the present stage of development of the state the study of the characteristics of becoming of the infrastructure of national electronic document management as one of the priority direction in the development of the information society seems actual. The aim of the publication is to study the conditions of legal support and practical implementation of electronic document management in Ukraine The analysis of the law base and practice of implementation of electronic document management in Ukraine shows the realization of a number of measures to promote the comprehensive settlement of the problem. Perhaps the process of establishing of an infrastructure of a national electronic document management is not as intense as in other states, however, on the condition of systematic work, Ukraine, over time, can have a very signifi cant achievements in this area. The important is the fact of understanding of leadership of the country the need to implement the electronic document management system that will improve the culture of offi ce work, will provide a signifi cant savings in replication and transmission of a large number of documents, which is very important today in conditions of limited funding of state authorities
