The analysis of the peculiarities of the service activities of the employees of special units of the National Police of Ukraine is carried out. Requirements for police training have been established. On the basis of the analysis of situations of official activity, the law enforcement officers’ low level of skills and skills in applying police enforcement measures was found. It is established that the improvement of the existing and development of the newest training methods aimed at training future law enforcement officers with a sufficient level of skills and skills in hand-to-hand combat is a relevant area of scientific research. The aim of this work is to theoretically substantiate the newest method of formation of skills and skills from hand-to-hand combat in future law enforcement officers in special physical training classes. The essence of the innovations of the proposed training method is to apply the training on the special physical training of the developed multimedia computer-information program «Human Rights Defender», the purposeful development of the special physical qualities of the winners and a clear sequence of learning the techniques of hand-to-hand techniques. The multimedia program is designed to take into account the identified technical errors that the acquirer makes while mastering the techniques of physical exposure and covers theoretical and practical modules. The theoretical module is saturated with a set of systematic and structured knowledge that illuminates the peculiarities of the technique of performing the techniques of physical influence provided by the curriculum in the discipline «Special Physical Training». The practical part contains a video showing the technique of performing hand-to-hand combat techniques. The complexes of physical exercises which are directed on formation of stable skills of hand combat are presented. The training material is secured by using model situations that bring the conditions of physical compulsion to the real ones as close as possible. The prospects for further research can be seen in the experimental testing of the newest methods of formation of skills and skills from hand-to-hand combat in future law enforcement officers in special physical training classes
