Biography

Veretennikova Natalia Viacheslavivna is a PhD in Social Communications and an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems and Networks. Her professional activity combines academic research, teaching, participation in international programmes, and active scientific communication. She is part of a cohort of modern scholars working at the intersection of the humanities and technical knowledge, which enables her to effectively apply interdisciplinary approaches in the fields of information technologies, knowledge management, and digital communication.

Education and Academic Degree

2017 – defended her PhD thesis titled "Electronic Library and Information Support of Research Activities in Higher Education Institutions" (speciality 27.00.03 – Book Science, Library Science, Bibliography) at the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine.

2021 – awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

Scientific Activity

Natalia Veretennikova is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, including:

- articles in peer-reviewed international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science;

- research papers in specialised Ukrainian academic journals;

- a collective monograph dedicated to modern forms of organising the information environment in research institutions.

She is a regular participant in academic conferences and workshops, where she delivers presentations and actively engages in discussions – particularly on topics such as digital transformation in education, IT team management, and new forms of academic collaboration.

Research Interests

Management of IT projects and programmes;

Information technologies supporting distributed teams;

Digital communication platforms in knowledge management;

Tools for documenting, visualising, and analysing communications in IT processes;

Research on digital tools ensuring team resilience in crisis conditions.

Academic Mobility

Natalia actively participates in international academic mobility programmes:

- completed internships under Erasmus+ and DAAD programmes (Germany, Poland);

- participated in international seminars, workshops, and projects aimed at the development of digital competencies in education and science.

Recognition and Awards

Her scientific contributions have been highly recognised at the national and regional levels:

2017 – awarded a diploma from the Lviv Regional State Administration (LRSA) as a laureate of the regional prize for young scientists for significant scientific achievements in the socio-economic development of Lviv Region;

2019 – recipient of the President of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists;

2023 – received a second LRSA award for employees of scientific institutions and higher education establishments.
