Анотація
Метою дослідження було висвітлити історичний процес становлення архівної справи, і порівняти специфіку розвитку в країнах з розвинутими архівознавчими студіями такі як США, Франція, Німеччина, Україна. Також важливою складовою частиною дослідження було пояснення структури та принципів функціонування архівів як в Україні, так і в інших кранах де архівознавство є базовою частиною історії. Було проаналізовано процес розвитку архівознавства з його позитивними і негативними рисами. У дослідженні розглядалась історія архівної справи в різних країнах крізь призму порівняльного аналізу організаційних структур і методів роботи архівів. Досліджувалось, як історичний, культурний і соціально-політичний контекст вплинув на розвиток архівних установ у різних регіонах світу, Стародавніх цивілізацій, таких як Єгипет, Месопотамія та Римська імперія, де архіви використовувалися для зберігання важливих документів та адміністративних записів. Крім того, проаналізовано зміни в роботі архівів під час промислової революції та колоніальної експансії, які вплинули на розвиток сучасних архівних систем у Латинській Америці, Африці та Азії. Розглянуто сучасні тенденції в архівних дослідженнях, такі як зацифрування та глобалізація архівної практики, а також виклики, з якими стикаються архівісти в різних країнах. Порівняльний аналіз показав, що, попри значні відмінності в структурі архівів і способах їх організації, спільним знаменником є прагнення зберегти документальну спадщину і забезпечити доступ до архівних ресурсів. Цей порівняльний аналіз продемонстрував як спільні, так і унікальні аспекти розвитку архівів
